1 Palette / 5 Looks / 5 Days

IMG_1847I haven’t worn eyeshadow or anything of much substance makeup wise in weeks (if not months) but three very exciting looking palettes arrived this week and I took it as a sign that I need to get back on that cosmetic horse and get creative! To both push me to experiment again and test this new selection from Makeup Revolution I am challenging myself to create 5 different looks over the next 5 days and report back with what I came up with. At the end of the week I’ll do a full video review/round up.

http___makeagif.com__media_8-16-2014_ayXzkBI don’t often do ‘face of the day’ type posts so it will be a refreshing change of pace as I intend to share the other bits and pieces I’ve used daily as well. I will be kicking off tomorrow but I thought I’d give a little intro before I start and give you the opportunity to chime in and let me know if there’s anything specific you’d like me to incorporate into this mini-series. If you enjoy it I may repeat the idea with some of my lesser used palettes that could do with more love.

Makeup Geek 36 shadow palette is available online here for £7.99

Great plan! I hate getting into boring ruts with make up, might do this myself to get a little more creative!

This reminds me of the electric challenge, Emily Noel did a little bit ago with Urban Decays Electric Palette. At first I thought it was a palette Makeup Geek came out with but then I realized its from Makeup Revolution. I’m always so tempted to buy from there but I’ve yet to place an order, I think I’m subconsciously holding out for something. Haha. This sounds like a great idea and I can’t wait to see what looks you come up with!
