Essie Naughty Nautical

I finally caved.. but how pretty!!? – L-R – Sunday Funday, Full Steam Ahead, Naughty Nautiical

I wanted to show you all of them at once so I did the rainbow nail thing but since these pictures I’ve repainted Naughty Nautical on my fingers and Sunday Funday on my toes, Full Steam Ahead is a bit ‘meh’ as I have so many others like it but I’m sure I will wear it again at some point

When I tweeted a picture of these a few people asked if the brushes in the minis are the same as the regular diffusion line and I’m happy to confirm that they do indeed have the wide brush. This is my second set of miniatures, the other was at Christmas and I would definitely buy again for the colours I will wear less often.. they’re a great deal (9.99 for these three rather than 7.99 for one full size) and they stack nicely against the regular polishes as they’re still the same height – important to a collector! The subtle glitter you see in the bottle doesn’t translate quite as well on the nails but it’s also no more difficult to remove than a cream formula so it’s not great loss.. I have had polishes from Essie that look just the tiniest bit shimmery and are like sandpaper to remove so I was expecting that but was pleasantly surprised.

Have you picked anything up from the Naughty Nautical collection? I’m very tempted by The More The Merrier

Naughty Nautical looks like such a gorgeous colour! It reminds me of the Barry M Gelly in Guava, just with a little bit of shimmer – how does the lasting power compare?

Wow I love the blue colour on the right! I don’t own any essie nail polish but as I’ve finally grown my nails it seems only fair I would treat myself to one, right?
