This might just be my most blogged about lip product. I’m constantly being asked what I’m wearing in videos when I have this on and it frequently makes it in to top products posts not to mention hundreds of instagram #selfies.. it could well be my all time favourite lipstick! With that in mind I couldn’t leave it out of my Christmas lip series cause for me it’s just the most festive colour I own and I also feel totally comfortable wearing it during the days and even.. TO WORK! I think it’s the lip butter formula that feels less formal and therefor more ‘wearable’ – I know, I know.. everyone hates that word but it has it’s place!
I wore this all weekend at The Clothes Show & to see Hanson (yes, THAT Hanson – they were EPIC) in Birmingham and also to Laura’s wedding on Friday – see picture above. I wanted a classic red lip but knowing that was what the bride was wearing this was the perfect alternative.. red but not. It’s a deep pink really. I’ve made no secret of my love hate relationship with Revlon Lip Butters but this was what converted me, there are some excellent shades out there and off the top of my head if you were thinking of trying them for the first time – this, Sorbet, Lollipop, Red Velvet (which I also might have to include before the 12 days are up) and Wild Watermelon are brilliant. Avoid the milky looking ones cause in my experience unless your lips are perfectly smooth and flake free (almost impossible in December) they just look rubbish and can be very streaky.
