Maybelline Color Tattoo – Everlasting Navy

IMG_8647

Ahh, the collection is building.. I actually can’t believe I don’t already have every available colour in this line but it would seem that I do not and there always seems to be a new one catching my eye.

*Side Note* I’ve just put on You’ve Got Mail and am massively distracted by the opening song – listen here – love it.. brb.

Anyway… Everlasting Navy, this is in the Metallic Pomegranate category for me as it’s a great base for a one colour lid. If you apply it too heavily it will crease but if you don’t apply it heavily enough it will blend out to murky looking darkness – see below. Don’t get me wrong I do wear it alone but I prefer to blend a light layer all over my lid and just above my crease as a base to a deep blue powder shadow. It adds some depth and helps it blend while allowing me to concentrate the top shadow just on my lid. It’s a super simple trick for those who find blending tricky.

Have you seen the new matte colours that have launched in the US?? They’re top of my shopping list for when we visit in January!

Available online for £4.99 here

I’ve always been curious about these but haven’t got very experiences with creamy eye shadows. Do these crease at all? And how long do they last?

I love these! I think I have most of them now, oops. I love using this one as a base for a navy toned smokey eye xx

I have a few of these (not navy yet!) but this is so pretty until you blend it out then like you said, kinda murky and ugh. I wish we got the matte shades in Canada, I think I need backups of them and I don’t even own one copy yet!

So glad they’re bringing out more wearable shades – the formula of these is great! xx
