It’s All About The Slouch

*What I’ m Wearing*

Tshirt – Topshop / Trousers – Forever 21 – similar / Shoes – Converse / Sunglasses – Ray-Ban / Necklace – Tiffany / Bag – Mulberry Effie Hobo / Bracelets – Primark & Topshop / Watch – Michael Kors

I’ve been trying to find a way to wear these trousers since I bough them in New York more than a month ago. Yesterday we went to the Legoland Discovery Centre at the Trafford Centre (you’d best believe I got some shopping in too!) and I wanted to be comfortable so it seemed like the perfect time for their maiden outing.. I LOVE them! I have a couple of other pairs of these harem style pants and they feel like pj’s but I never know what shoes to wear. I almost always go with converse and I think they look good but once summer hits I think sandals will be the way to go.. I want a pair of cut out tan pumps. I have a picture of them in my mind which means I will almost certainly not find any that match what I’m looking for but if you have any suggestions leave your links in the comments. It was a great day, I’ll show you some bits and pieces I picked up later but the highlight had to be the brunch from the Giraffe cafe .. yum!

In other news I have a hair appointment booked for tomorrow, my hair is all fine but for the ends which are impervious to colour and appear to now me blue/silver forever.. I’m hoping that the senior colourist I’m booked in with will be able to work some magic

This outfit looks super comfortable. I’d love to be able to style and carry off the gorgeous pants, but I always think I look silly in anything but skinny jeans. I definitely want to try and experiment more this spring/summer. Maybe I’ll take to pinterest for some inspiration!

you really have to give them a go, I think they look best with heels but if you can get over the ‘this looks daft’ feeling they are SO comfy for day to day wear

Those trouser looks great! I always pick pieces like that up in store then go ‘no I’d look stupid’ but I definitely agree with your idea of pairing them with sandals in summer.

I’m not a fan of getting my legs out so they could be a great way to keep cool without looking frumpy!

I love the trousers/tennis shoes combo! I’ve always matched them with sandals or heels in my mind, and I love this casual idea!
