26/03 – 3 Day Week!

Most of you will be excited about Easter as it promises two short working weeks and an uber long weekend but Bank Holidays aren’t anything special for my since I don’t work Mondays anyway. This week of course we have the anomaly that is Good Friday so I too benefit from the extra day and to celebrate I thought I’d share a picture if these cakes I made for Danielle’s birthday tomorrow! I’ll post a how-to at the weekend but they’re a variation on the Cream Egg cupcakes I’ve seen all over Pinterest recently. I’m not a big fan of frosting and gooey centres myself so I’m looking forward to taking them to work for the verdict but Lee assures me they’re delicious!

    I can never complain about a day off! Well, except where I am at now it means everything is closed so I cannot even go shopping on my day off (at least in the States some places stay open on Fridays). Also holiday is always a great excuse to eat something sweat like the cupcakes pictured above :).
