This was sent to me by Bare Minerals PR and although it’s lovely I would never have chosen it for myself in a million years. This lilac pink (reminds me a little of snob by MAC) just wasn’t a colour that I thought would look right but I actually really like it – just goes to show you have to move out of your comfort zone occasionally and try something different.
Formula wise this is one of the nicest feeling lip products I own, so creamy in texture and comfortable to wear that I would definitely be tempted to by another. That being said the creaminess means that the product is soft and unfortunately it’s already a little broken, it bends every time I wear it so I can’t see it lasting very long in the tube – very annoying for a £16 lipstick I’m sure you’ll agree.
The packaging is sleek with a nifty little button to release the top, I like little details like that. Really had it not been for the potentially short shelf life (I will likely depot at some point but I wont wear it as much if I do) I’d have nothing bad to say about this, even with the high price tag it’s something I recommend if you were treating yourself so if you have one of these I’d be interested to hear your experiences with the bullet and whether it’s as fragile in the tube as this one.
