Okay I’m not 100% sure this actually takes me to 30 and I KNOW it’s not IN 30 so let’s just give it up and make this the final installment shall we? Previously when I’ve done the series I have blogged in advance but this time around I thought it would be more fun to do a real time daily lip.. I wont make that mistake again! So the final lip had t be a red.. I think we had a bit of a nude/red battle this series but you just can’t beat a good matte red and Sangers from Illamasqua didn’t disappoint.
Excuse my hilariously wobbly lip swatch.. what makes it MORE hilarious is that I walked around all day totally unaware how botched it was until I came to write this post. The horror. As with Minx earlier in the month I was really impressed by the texture and opacity of this lipstick, I will absolutely be picking up some more. They’re a little more expensive than I’d like but they are seriously good quality products and totally deserve the hype they get in the blogosphere. Sangers is a beautiful blood red, totally matte and as such really long lasting. It’s comfortable as mattes go, more so than a MAC retro matte but with comparable staying power. I’m starting to really like this chunky squared packaging too, I’m not a big fan of the wider shaped bullet, as you can see I have a little trouble curving it to the shape of my lips but I would imagine that’s a practice makes perfect thing. I can definitely forgive them that one ‘not so great’ for what is shaping up to be my new favourite lipstick brand.
