A mix of late nights and overdoing it on energy drinks has left me feeling a little under the weather and I think today’s photos give that a way a bit – despite the lengthy attempt to colour correct my grey complexion – but regardless I had to share my 15th lip.. we’re halfway through guys.. excited?
I love these cream glosses from Miners – available online here for £3.99 – and this is my most worn purely because it’s a neutral but I also love the hot pink that is Material Girl – here. They’re somewhere between a gloss and a liquid lipstick, not quite as pigment packed as the Rimmel Apocalypse but not sheer enough to pass for a regular gloss making this particular colour super wearable for all. It has a little taupiness (word?) to it rather than being a regular nude which is great for paler girls like myself (I fake tanned last night but you can’t tell at all here – see I told you I was ill!) as the old concealer lip is not a good look for me and this actually adds colour rather than taking it away.
Formula wise it’s comfortable, not sticky and fairly long wearing but it’s still effectively a gloss so expect regular touch ups. The packaging is very swish for Miners, they’ve really stepped up their game recently and I’m hoping it’s the shape of things to come because much as I loved their products I must admit their packaging in the past looked like it BELONGED at the chemists whereas now it really would look at home in Boots – fingers crossed!
Speaking of stepping it up I’ve been a little off my game the last couple of days (cough, feel sorry for me, I’m poorly, cough) but I’m hoping to wake up tomorrow feeling 100% better and totally refreshed so stick with me!
