#30in30 MUA Velvet Lip Lacquer in Funk

MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer Funk

I bought this at Christmas time and after reviewing it I just forgot it I had it. People asked me if I’d tried the velvet lacquers and I said I hadn’t been impressed because in the back of my mind I thought I’d put it away and forgotten about it because it wasn’t that great.. but it really, really is. I pulled it out for this series because I thought it was nice and summery but when I tried to get it off I realised how wrong I’d been to dismiss it. It’s like GLUE! It wears really well and the colour is amazing.. totally kicking myself for not using it all this time!

After trying it again I actually went back to my original review – read that here – and seriously can’t believe I’d disregarded it. I guess it backs up what my husband keeps telling me.. I really do have too much makeup.

Have you guys tried any other colours from this range? I picked this up when they were newly launched so there weren’t many left on the stand but I’m thinking I’ll have better luck 6 months later and would love your recommendations.

Available online here for £3.00

I have the full range (5 colours) as they are that great and at only £3 each you can get all 5 for less than a high end lipstick. I believe they are also soon bringing out more colours that are a little less bright.

I have Kooky a deep purple colour, I’ve found though that when they fade, they kind of flake off unevenly so I wasn’t a massive fan :/

Thanks for review a revive product. Isn’t it great when you have a rummage through your old makeup and you find an old favourite or a forgotten gem?

Have you entered my summer French skincare giveaway yet?

The red is amazing! I’ve also got the purple but I’m thinking that’s an autumn kind of colour for me. I’ve got the orange shade but haven’t worn it often because it’s a little out of my comfort zone. I’m looking forward to the new shades being released!!
