#30in30 – Revlon Kissable Balm Stain in Honey

I was rifling through my lip drawers this morning and this jumped out and said ‘wear me’ – this was a staple every day colour for me this time last year but I have to say it’s been neglected of late and for that I must apologise because it really is lovely.

I’m actually a big fan of this range of stains, they do as the name suggests give a just bitten look, just enough for those days when you want some colour without anything too bold. They’re a lot like the L’Oreal Caresse actually but with some staying power, they don’t feel quite as nice on the lips and they are a touch drying but they are a stain so you have to allow for that I guess.

Lastly how in the world is this shade called Honey? Rose maybe but honey is a golden colour, no? Crazy people over at Revlon were obviously on something that day. My most worn colour is probably Crush and as soon as September hits I will be breaking that one out for sure but Honey is a great day to day neutral I’d definitely recommend!

Available online here for £7.99

*Note my still tired looking eyes – I have no idea what’s wrong with me but I feel like I haven’t slept in a year, apparently there’s ‘something going round ‘ hooray! Hope you avoid it and are having a good weekend so far 🙂

I never got the name either. Like the range, but I think the smell is horrific! I recently got the Bourjois colour boosts and I like them far better.

they initially smell lovely and minty but after a week or two they smell a bit dirty somehow.. doesn’t bother me a great deal though I must admit lol

Aww I hope you feel better! I adore adore Honey! I just picked it up a couple weeks ago, and much prefer it over my Clinique Chubby stick, the colour is fantastic (it looks great on you!) and the opacity is way better than Clinique and it’s really just awesome (though a tiny bit drying). I haven’t tried the Caresse yet though now I want to. I bought Crush as a gift for a friend, so I’m glad to hear you give it kind words as well 🙂 Drugstore products are hard to find where she lives so I hope she loves it!

I love this one. This and the L’oreal glamshine in Romy are my choices for work.

I’ve never tried those, I guess I need to get my hands on it quickly! xx
