#30in30 Revlon Lip Butter Candy Apple

Revlon Lip Butter Candy Apple

In my recent shipment of Revlon Lip Butters (oh, you didn’t hear about the time I bough 20 lip butters? well that’s for another time..) this bad boy arrived and I can’t believe I didn’t already own it. I took a long time to come around to the Lip Butter range but once I did I made it my mission to own all of the bolder more opaque colours and this is definitely one of those. Candy Apple was actually one of the shades that was raved about when they first launched which only adds to my confusion as to why I didn’t pick it up sooner. A great example of a Summer red, bright but not too deep, glossy and almost gel like.. perfect!

Another example of a bold lip colour boosting a virtually makeup free face.. Do any of you feel this way? If I’d worn a nude I’d have looked dead, I’m sure. Sometimes a bright colour like this can put life back in to your face where there was none and on this very, VERY tired evening it did just that.. and then I washed it off and went immediately to bed 😉

You bought 20 lip butters?! That should keep you tied over for… a few lifetimes, haha! This looks lovely on you too. I’m usually more of a bold, matte red kinda gal but this I like 🙂

I love these but theyre so pigmented and tend to run so always have to pair them with a liner when it comes to the brighter shades!

I’ve been loving this lip butter, too! Such a great shade and I can imagine it’d look good on most people.

Such a nice shade. I’m a massive fan of the “can be put on with minimal time and effort” lipsticks, because I’m forever in a rush and can never be bothered with fussy lip products – I end up just missing them out. They definitely do add something to a natural face and the shade suits you really well. x

I’m not brave enough for a bold lip color 🙁

I have 4 lip butters including this one and I love all of them! The formula is fantastic and the colours are super flattering. This was the first real red I dared to try and I fell utterly in love with it – I never realised how much I love bright lip colours! I always feel very polished and made up when I wear this, it’s a super confidence booster for work presentations 🙂
