#30in30 – Revlon Lip Butter – Crème Brulee

Today’s lipstick is courtesy of a post I had photos for and totally forgot to publish months ago so I technically didn’t wear this today but I literally just got home and left the house at 7am so it’s been a LONG one!
Creme Brûlée is not one of my most worn lip butters but it IS one of my favourite nude lipsticks because it’s so sheer so doesn’t totally block out your natural lip colour it just gives a milky wash of gloss – perfect! My guess is this would suit a variety of skin tones because of this.
Nude isn’t totally my colour but if I am to wear it I’ll reach for this or MACs Hue (very similar but that’s a little more pink) because if the glazed finish. I just find them so much more wearable than the more popular opaques so if you think you can’t wear nude I’d suggest you try this.

It’s very late and I’m typing this on my iPhone so apologies if this makes no sense. Long story short this is lovely and I’d give it two thumbs up 😉

oh man I didn’t realize these were photos of you that very day wearing that very lipstick, crazy! your makeup is so gorgeous every day, and that makes this even more fun. I’m not sure about the nude lips on me either, but I like that this is totally opaque as well.

haha! yes I was doing fine til yesterday when I ran out of time lol.. I’ll hopefully get a fresh start tomorrow at the half way mark and keep it up.. I wanted to do it in real time but if I do it again I think I’ll keep some in reserve for just in case days haha

Whoops noticing typo in my original comment… *this isn’t totally opaque

yeah I think it’s okay to keep one or two in reserve so you don’t have to type it up while your guests are in the living room again (I did find it funny that you scheduled a post like that haha so that makes way more sense!)

I am loving your posts , but today have invested in 3 (3 for 2) Lipfinitys. I find after all the years they have been out they are still the best for staying power on my lips. Big investment, but had to do it!

You’re totally right -Creme Brûlée is a great natural nude, I need to dig it out of the pile!

I love this one. On my skin tone it becomes a light brown and it goes with everything!

Today I saw a sweet deal at boots, £10 for two Revlon products (lipstick, nail polish, mascara, lip gloss….) I got the creme brulee and a mascara <3 ! Thanks for the advice! Where did you get the lovely necklace? I love it! x
