50 Shades Of Blue

I haven’t done an outfit post for a while.. I think it was the whole hair nightmare that put me off in truth. When I read fashion blogs I lust after the bloggers long tumbling waves and it seems nowadays that’s a prerequisite. If you have gorgeous hair it doesn’t really matter what you wear. I, unfortunately do not fit in to that category but I shall continue to share my outfits from time to time because if nothing else it keeps me interested in clothes! I have a huge wardrobe of stuff I hate but when I see other people wearing similar styles I love it. It pushes me out of my comfort zone a little and todays post is no different. I’ve been obsessing over dip dye for a while but hadn’t found a shirt I liked on the highstreet. I saw a post on the Romwe blogger incentive (read about that here) and it led me to this. The best oversized tee EVER! If they did it in other colours I would buy them all… it’s super comfy, the fit is nice and of course.. it’s dip dye.. hatrick! My skirt is from the Next sale a few weeks ago and is so not me but hey.. we’re trying new things. I’m wearing havaianas (unseen) ’cause I still don’t know what shoes you’re supposed to wear with a maxi anything and my necklace is from F21 a gizillion years ago. If any of you know of any other awesome dip dye pieces available right now please leave me the link.. It’s the first trend in a long time that I think I can pull off as a mother of two!

*FYI*

I didn’t join the affiliate scheme so I’m gaining nothing from you clicking on the link/ad etc but I did recieve the shirt for free via their fashion blogger incentive scheme (here)

I LOVE this outfit, you look beautiful 🙂 and I love your hair clipped back like that! I know what you mean about the hair thing. I have above shoulder length (well, let me be honest WELL ABOVE shoulder length) hair that I’m growing out and I feel like whenever I take an outfit photo (that I never post lol) my hair just ruins it. But you look fantastic in yours maybe I’ll give it a try anyway!

Your hair looks fab! Don’t let it put you off posting OOTD’s because of the length. You look great and personally I love to see something different from the usual ‘blogger hairstyle’ 🙂

Don’t feel blue about not having the long tumblingwaves….. I did have them but they were irritating me, so i was umming and ahhing about getting it all cut off. I saw your gorgeous new ‘do’ and finally decided to go for it. And i love it! So much easier to look after and i think it looks more edgy.

short is so much easier to look after but my hair is thick and wavy so I do end up straightening it more.. swings and roundabouts but I’ve always got extensions lol
