A Month Of Lips

At 8pm on the first of the month I remember what I’d resolved to do this month and 8pm was a bit late given the challenge was to blog a new lipstick every day. So it’s only day one and I’m already cheating with a lip balm but in fairness.. this is my favourite lipbalm… yes, okay.. phoning it in *must try harder*

One of the main reasons I love this is the taste/smell, it’s so clean – like a dentists! I know that for some that will be a big fat negative (I mean who likes the dentist?) but not for me.. it’s lush! It tingles and just feels like it’s doing something to save my ever dry, chapped lips and would you believe it’s the first blistex balm I’ve ever tried? I will be picking up some more from the range, that’s for sure – any recommendations?

You have to start with a good base I guess it’s not a bad place to start the blog series either but tomorrow there will be colour, I promise! If any of you do are doing this or something similar leave you links below!

Available online for £2.63 here

PS. Since I kind of missed day 1 I’m thinking of dubbing this 30 lips in 30 days.. thoughts?

🙂 I’ve just posted a page about a blistex product earlier today! Its at the bottom of this page … http://lotties411thoughts.blogspot.co.uk/2013/08/blehh-about-me.html It’s not a day lip balm but for night. I’ve found it a life saver, and works magic over night. I like the idea of 30 lipsticks in 30 days, I will be back, loving lipsticks right now! 🙂

Love this, I’m always on the hunt for the perfect lip balm. You should try the Blistex Medplus too it’s a good one!

You should try out the MUA lipsticks. Not the light ones (not very pigmented) but the darker ones definitely! Also, the fashionista lipsticks (also sold through MUA) are on sale atm for £1.50 and they’re also pigmented and moisturising!

The Blistex in a blue pot is an absolute godsend! It’s a similar formula as in the tube, but it’s clear, so it doesn’t make your lips have a white tint to them.
I’d recommend it to anyone and everyone! Haha xx

Ahhhh too much excitement! I’m a total junkie with lip products (not colored ones, balms & such) I have so many , too many & I will be adding this to my stash. Also looking forward to your lipstick psts because I need to venture out a bit!

This is definitely a good place to start! You can’t exactly show off lip balms/sticks to their full potential if you have dry, cracked lips!

Ooh nice concept. I like 30 lips in 30 days. I’m not doing it this month, but I’d love to steal the concept for next month if you don’t mind. I was going to do shoes but I really stick to 2-3 pairs for the most part.

Lip balm is definitely the right place to start…just like good skin before any foundation or makeup.
