On Monday I spent the day in Manchester. I had a meeting in the AM and then met up with fellow blogger, El from AThriftyMrs who rather kindly offered to take some outfit pics for me. Of course we chatted and shopped for so long we ran out of light so we improvised under the cover of a blanket of fluorescents but hey, you get the idea, right? It was such a fun day, I haven’t spent much time in Manchester in the past but I’ll definitely be making plans to return in the near future. Such an interesting place with AMAZING shopping and the Christmas decorations had just gone up everywhere so much as I’ve been trying to avoid it I’m feeling super festive now.
Jumper, Jeans, Boots AND Scarf – All H&M (I think I have a problem. The scarf is from the mens department and one ‘d highly recommend as it’s not at all itchy. Jacket is from Zara – link – completely amazing, super soft and I’ve since seen a million bloggers talk about it both here and in the US. It was a little more than I like to spend on faux leather but in the grand scheme of things it’s still really good value and I’ve already worn it to death. Bag is Phillip Lim Medium Pashli in Orchid which is currently on sale here, painful as I paid near full price but again I haven’t put it down since it arrived so I can make my peace with the astronomical price tag.
