Asian Beauty Haul

IMG_0435

My Dad recently visited China on business and I set him the task of picking me up some interesting Asian beauty products. I was no idea what he would find (if anything) but now he’s back I thought I’d share the little haul with you. I haven’t tried any of it yet so if any of you have I’d be very interested to hear your experiences. I’m aware there are some risky ingredients with some of the whitening products so I’m a little nervous to try them without doing my research first but if I do I will of course let you know!IMG_0437IMG_0440IMG_0442IMG_0439

Birds Nest White Perfect Facial Masks – link / Dr Magic Jasmine Ultra Hydrating Toner & Emulsion / Garnier PS Cream 5 – link / Dr Magic Red Ultimate Lifting & Firming Eye Cream

So the links I managed to find were for the Birds Nest masks )which I’m really hoping are good cause he brought me about a years worth home) and the Garnier because I’m fairly certain this is the 5 second perfect blur which I haven’t tried and again have a zillion samples of. This review of the sheet mask (super in depth) makes me less nervous to try it but like I said, if you’ve used/heard of ANY of these products I’d love to hear from you!

I use a lot of Asian beauty products and I find that those with whitening products are fabulous for getting rid of redness in the face. I’m fairly pale myself and I haven’t gotten any paler since using them (which is about two years now) so there ya go.

out of all those products I have tried the birds nests masks. My long term favorite, they are very nourishing on skin. After you’ve taken the sheet mask out from the individual packaging, use your mask but don’t throw away the serum inside the packaging! I normally save it for next night or use on neck, arms etc. (For summer, I put mine in fridge first.)

My Chinese foreign exchange sister left a bottle of the Dr. Magic Jasmine Emulsion at my house 3 years ago, I use it all the time and I’m still using the same bottle. It lasts forever and it works really well, it’s not oily at all, has no residue, my skin absorbs it fast and it leaves my skin dewy and glowing. I’m trying to figure out where to order it online!
