I try a lot of different skincare but there are a few staples I come back to time and time again and these are a three of them. In fairness the lip balm is a semi-new addition, for the past year (more, even) I’ve used Reve De Miel exclusively as my evening lip care however prior to that I had a tube of Eight Hour Cream in its place and I thought it couldn’t be beaten. I recently discovered a brand new jar of EH lip balm I’d totally forgotten about and I’m really enjoying using it again, it’s basically the same thing in a slightly thicker form.. and in a jar. Much like other skincare (and haircare) products I think you get used to one thing and it’s worth switching things up every now and then if only to keep your favourites effective. I still love my Nuxe but it didn’t seem to be doing the magic for me anymore.. hopefully when I return to it I will rediscover my love. – Also the Elizabeth Arden one is WAY more expensive!!
Organic Surge Blissful Daily Moisturiser has been a favourite for AGES.. maybe 2 years + so you will definitely be bored of me talking it up by now if you’ve been reading/watching for a while but none the less.. it’s awesome! Although it’s a day cream it’s the perfect weight (is that a thing with cream? I mean they can be heavy/light, right? I’m going with it) for night for me. It’s non greasy, absorbs quickly and hydrates.. if I need a little boost I might layer it over an oil/serum but alone this is pretty darn good and something I would absolutely recommend you try!
Last up is Sanctuary Facial Repair Peptide Eye Cream. Again something I’ve been using for at least a year and honestly since I found it I haven’t even been interested in trying another. I still trial them from time to time but what I love about this is how thick it is. Some people wont like that and I definitely wouldn’t use it under makeup but at night it feels like a serious treat to my TIRED eyes. I’m sure it’s totally psychosomatic but it FEELS like it’s doing something.
So they are my staples.. I flit to and from others here and there but we all have the basics we know work for us and these are mine.. what are yours?
