A couple of months ago I picked this up on a trip to the Disney Store with the kids. As a general rule anything Disney is overpriced, am I right? but this was in the impulse section at the till and was just £1.99. I meant to blog about it at the time but as usual it has lived in my drafts until such a time as I had a clear out (today) and shared it with the world. I’ve checked online and can’t see it in the sale or full price but I would recommend you swing by your local store (if you have one) because this is very very nice! They actually have a whole section online dedicated to lotions and potions (who knew?) and this fragrance ‘Wonder’ has a hand cream and Linen Spray to it’s name which I am seriously considering purchasing because this stuff smells amazing! It smells like being a kid, like doll faces, I know that sounds mental but you know how some dolls were made of a soft plastic that smelt really good? No? Just me? Well they were and this is basically the essence of my childhood and I suspect many others as well. I don’t know what note it is that so familiar to me, i wish I did all I can tell you is you need to go and take a whiff.
The oil itself is pretty basic but I am coming around to the theory an oil is an oil is an oil. It does the job as well as any other it’s really the smell that inspired the post. I’m actually more than a little bit excited to see they have an ‘eau de denteur’ (perfumed water?) online which I think I will have to have. I will leave you with Disney’s description of the scent as I think i’ve waffled on long enough..
Treat yourself, or someone special, to the soft, powdery and fruity fragrance of Disney Wonder. Its delicate scent combines lemon sugar, apple blossoms and marshmallow clouds, inspired by classic Disney character, Bambi.
