Bank Holiday Buying..

I don’t know about you but whenever I’m home for an extended period my YouTube subscription box inevitably calls my name and as most of you know the more videos you watch.. the more you want to buy! I had a little shopping list in my head so we decided to take a trip to town this afternoon and I pretty much managed to get everything on it.. score! I did have a few more ‘wants’ from MUA but my local store has a poor selection and the majority was out of stock so I only managed to find 3 items that appealed. I finally got my hands on the eyeshadow primer that you’ve all been telling me I need to try for months so that’s exciting as well as the new Undress Your Skin foundation which rather surprisingly was a pretty good colour match for me in Porcelain and one of the bargainous £1 lipsticks in Shade 3. Two ‘necessity’ purchases I picked up were some toe separators and a back brush.. the back brush isn’t too exciting but the separators are gel so I will be reviewing those as they are usually so painful for me so I’m interested to see if the gel eases that. My final Superdrug buy was Barry M’s Ruby Glitter Nail Paint which again was a huge reader recommendation after I swatched Stay The Night by OPI and hated the liquid sand texture but loved the colour combo. This is basically a chunkier, glossier version so expect a NOTD post featuring that (and a comparison) very soon!

Next I hit up Boots (my fave) and their annual 3 for 2 across all cosmetics sucked me in and sold me 2 of the new Revlon Lip Butters (MissGlamorazzi has raved about them so I needed them, right? and the L’Oreal Lumi Touch under eye concealer. I wanted to try that out mainly to compare it with the YSL Touch Eclat which I’ve recently rediscovered and love.. I’m planning to do a high end/low end full face comparison video soon so I thought that would fit in well and I absolutely do not want to have to repurchase the YSL!!!

I did also buy a couple of bits from Primark but I will show you those tomorrow.. I never usually ‘haul’ clothing and accessories (or anything for that matter) in blog posts because I just don’t know how to showcase them without actually wearing them but I know Primark is one of those places everyone always wants to see what you bought because they’re not online. So.. expect that tomorrow!

I have heard great reviews on the MUA products not tried them yet but have had a look and the low cost price is incredible? What do you all think of them? worth a try yes? I have just started using the Jane Iredale BB cream and its amazing but a little costly and I do find it can cling to dry spots which is a little frustrating they have a primer I need to try see if that can correct that problem have any of you tried the Jane Iredale products? x
