This is the most unique shade of nail polish in my collection, by comparison everything else is just a shade of beige really, it’s so bright! I wanted this after seeing it on Missglamorazzi’s London haul.. I just knew I had to have the luminous highlighter shade of yellow on my nails as soon as possible.
Unfortunately I couldn’t find it anywhere so the lovely LauraBlogsBeauty picked it up for me when she saw it and when I finally got my hands on it it was a totally different formula than what I was expecting. It’s almost a frost. If it was any other shade of yellow I would hate it but somehow it works and adds to its luminosity!
Wear-wise it was also fairly chip resistant. I have been so obsessed with Essie of late I’ve totally neglected my drawer full of Barry M and forgotten how great they are for their £2.99 price tag. It does take 3 or 4 coats to get to the colour you see here which I understand might not be for everyone but pastels and neons generally take a little more effort. In this case I’m willing to put in the time. I’ve heard others say it goes on better over a white base but white is just as hard to get opaque and streak free in my opinion so I’ll stick to this over a good base coat (no nail staining to report) for now.
Available atBoots & Superdrug stores for £2.99
