Beautiful Budget Blush

IMG_1803How beautiful is this blush? As soon as I saw it I needed it and guess what.. it was only a few pounds. Essence has finally hit the UK (in Wilkos stores nationwide) and boy am I excited. I picked up a few other bits along with this but I couldn’t wait another minute to share this ombre Heatwave blush, I mean.. look at it!

It’s a super pigmented formula so a little goes a very long way but sheered out (as above) it’s a gorgeous coral glow. The perfect colour for those of you (like me) who can never decide between pink and peach blush. You can of course pick a side but swirled together it gives the prettiest colour, I think. It lasts as well as most blushes I own, no better, no worse but nothing to write home about. Although the product itself is lovely to look at the packaging is what you’d expect of a budget brand.. it’s plastic and cheap but it’s substantial and for the price, who would complain?

Definitely excited to try more from Essence, I have a few mascaras I totally forgot about until I started writing this post so expect to see posts on those soon but in the meantime if you know of anything AMAZING that I simply must pick up next time I’m in store, do let me know

the ombre looks gorgeous, not sure about the colour pay off though looks a bit weak for me.

I picked up one of their lipsticks in Coral Calling. Quite matte, but doesn’t feel dry or bitty. Gorgeous colour, very inexpensive and well worth checking out in my opinion.

Wow, odd to see en essence product on a British blog!
The blush does look nice indeed! It’s mainly their mascaras that I get, their compact powders are nice imo (but you may be more picky about them), and the trend editions have some nice products every now and again.

I noticed Essence in Wilkos the other day!! They have really stepped up their cosmetics section….to the dismay of my boyfriend who stood waiting for me 🙂 they even had tissues to wipe the testers off with!! Don’t get that service in Boots! Big thumbs up from me x

Living in Ireland we’ve had Essence here for years. I love it!!
The longwear (I think it claims 16 hours) foundation has a beautiful finish. They do have a very limited shade range though which I suppose is common for budget brands. Their mascaras are pretty good too. Love the lip products especially the matte lip lacquers. They have mini eyeshadow palettes that are just freaking amazing. They just rival so many top brands and it’s so cheap it’s practically free. They bring out limited edition promotional ranges every few months too which usually have some really unique and amazing products. Right I’ve rambled on enough. I just love them 🙂

Just moved to England and had a look at this range in my local Wilko – I got the hand cream (called Gel Nails at Home in a bright purple tube) – loving it!
