Benefit Gimme Brow

photo 1(4)

I’ve seen promotion for this brow gel for what seems like years and several of you have asked me whether I was planning on reviewing in when it launched, my answer was always no. I had read that it was a fibre mascara for your brows and knowing how messy some fibre mascaras can be I couldn’t imagine wanting that on my brows, I wasn’t remotely interested. Not to mention the fact that gel NEVER does anything for me, I have sparse eyebrows and  they need some serious filling in every single day.. I’d go as far as to say I’d go without concealer before I’d go without my brows!! I knew this wasn’t for me so I wasn’t going to bother.. but then it arrived in the post. I immediately had to try it, there are two colour, Light/Medium and Medium/Dark and I went for the lighter of the two and that’s what you see above. I have no other product on here, JUST the Gimme Brow and to say I was impressed doesn’t even begin to cut it. I had zero expectations for this product and although I wouldn’t have purchased it had I not known how great it was I’m SO glad I had the opportunity to try it and I will definitely buy it once it runs out.

The brush is absolutely tiny and you do have to work the product in but if I can make it work ANYONE can! I suggest you get down to a counter and ask to have it applied to see how you like it as it’s not super cheap however I think it will last pretty well.. watch this space I will update you on that one. I believe it retails for £14.50 however I can’t find a link to buy online yet, Laura from LauraLovesBeauty told me it’s available at her local store so if you’re desperate to get your hands on it you probably can.. if you know of a link leave a comment.

I tried it in boots on Wed, they’d gotten they’re delivery early, so the assistant tried it out on me. I don’t usually bother with my eyebrows (don’t shout at me) but it looked fab, and she let me do the other side myself, and like you managed it. I will be investing in it next month

Wow this looks amazing on you! It’s made such a difference to your brows, I am so tempted to pick it up now 🙂
I saw it was available on the John Lewis website a few days ago so might still be in stock there if anyone’s struggling to find one.

This has made such a difference on your eyebrow! So natural looking as well! Mine are quite similar to yours and do need a bit of filling in (when I was in school, I got a bit eager with the plucking…) so I think I’ll be picking this up!

It is on sale at QVC and you get a 30 day money back guarantee so can try it and see if you like it. The reviews are very mixed and it put me off but it looks great on you so now I am in a dither lol :0) xxxJoolsxxx

Holy moly! That’s amazing! It looks fab on you! I’ve been tempted to try it out! I’ve pretty full brows do you think it would be worth getting anyways? X

not if you don’t use anything now but if you do you’d probably need so little of this

Wow these look amazing! I’m always hesitant to buy high-end brow gels because I wonder how much they can really differ from a £1 boots equivalent, but I haven’t seen anything like this (with the fibres) on the market before. Would you recommend them for someone who is a bit of a novice when it comes to brows?
    Great post 🙂 xx

it’s really not a brow gel, it’s an alternative to a pencil or powder, whatever you’d usually use to fill in. I’m big on brows and have tried A LOT of stuff but this I would absolutely recommend

it’s not a gel at all, more like a mascara for your brows

thanks nicola, I think it may be a little more expensive other places

I’m lucky in that I have very dark brows and they are quite thick so I don’t bother using anything on my brows at all. I am tempted to go to a benefit counter and give this a try though, it might make them look a little neater! Xx

if you currently use anything to fill them in then yes but if not no, just go on being very lucky lol

Like you, I didn’t think I’d be interested in this product, I thought it was just another coloured gel for your eyebrows. After seeing this though, I am completely shocked at the difference it’s made to your brow – I really, really want to get myself to a Benefit counter now to try it out. Thank you for posting!

      haha well I’m glad I delivered 😉

Wish the brush was slightly bigger!

dya know I disagree.. in this case smaller is better cause most for me are way too big and if your trying to get a defined look your need it to be small enough even for the ‘tail end’ of your brows

This looks fantastic! I’m lucky enough to have full eyebrows anyway so don’t to need to try this but I’m oddly jealous of the people who can… is that weird??

Oh wow, this looks so natural. I have been on the fence about purchasing this and your review just made up my mind for me. Will definitely be investing in this next month, thank you!

I’m thinking I’ll head to my local counter and get them to have a go on my eyebrows with it, see how it goes – but the difference it’s made to your brows is incredible!
