These ‘Top 5’ type posts have been doing the rounds for a while and in my hundreds of YouTube videos I don’t think I’ve ever done one so I though I’d jump on the bandwagon and start a series of my own starting with blushes!
OK so maybe it’s not a top 5 but these are my current favourites or… ‘Best Blushes’ if you will..
Let’s kick off with one of my all time favourites, Dallas. It’s one of the Benefit Box’o’Powder’s which I know aren’t cheap but they are such good value for money as they last an absolute age. I’ve had this one for years and am nowhere near hitting pan. It’s heavily pigmented so little goes a very long way and it’s available here for £23.50. It’s dubbed as more of a bronzer as it’s a lot more neutral than it looks but I use it kind of as double duty to warm up my complexion.. it would be too red to use as a regular bronzer for me.
Next are two blushes from the Fashionista range at Superdrug. Each are priced at £4 (here) but the current offer is 4 for £10 and they slot in to a cute little quad compact! On top is Cinnamon, a plum/pink that you have to use super sparingly or risk looking like a russian doll but when it’s used correctly it gives a gorgeous flush of colour. On the bottom is my go-to everyday as it’s much lighter and I can be as heavy handed as I like without risking the overdone look! Butterscotch is just a really neutral pink that would suit anyone.

Next we have the round pots… they’re not arranged in order of preference… just shape!
On top is my Bronzer/Blusher Blend in Sunblushed from Miners which I’ve raved about at length in the past and you can see a whole post on here. In a nutshell it’s gives a sheen to the skin and a subtle glow of colour without anything ‘too much’ or too shimmery. Ideal for setting off a summer tan! Available for £4.99 here.
Bottom left is MAC Peaches. This was a huge love of mine last summer, it was a frequent monthly favourite and I’m not sure why I ever stopped wearing it. I think I decided it wasn’t the right shade for me and started branching out in to pinks and plums but I’ve rediscovered it again and although perhaps it’s not the best shade for the super pale it’s still pretty and flattering when I have a little colour or I fake it with my Bourjois bronzer! MAC Blushes are £17.50 here
Last of all on the right is Rose Whisper by GOSH (£6.99 here). This was something I had for a long time before I started using it, it looked too dark and a bit scary in the pan but it’s so so sheer and much like my Fashionista Butterscotch it requires very little attention/blending and is perfect for those rushed mornings when you have no time to be worrying about correcting your makeup.

So that’s it for my favourite blushes of the moment, lots of people ask how I find the time to blog/film being at home with a 7 month old.. well here’s an insight.. Milo is quite the assistant! Unfortunately when he read ‘Peaches’ he didn’t realise it referred only to the shade…
