When I moved over from blogger to WordPress last year I said goodbye to GFC and hoped that my loyal readers would follow via other means.. you did, thank you!! Recently I discovered a way to reinsert missbudgetbeauty back into your Google Reader Feed and a chunk of old readers who didn’t make the move with me expressed their excitement that this was now possible. Unfortunately it seems that Google has finally put it’s reader to bed and so GFC is no more and for those who didn’t switch to Bloglovin‘ when I suggested it all those month ago I thought I’d remind you about it now. I don’t like change and initially hated the format as I was so used to Google Reader but I love it now, it’s on my phone, it’s on my iPad, I can discover new blogs through the Top Blogs / Popular Posts pages and it’s just so much more fit for purpose . I always offer the different ways to follow me in the side bar, email, Hello Cotton, She Said Beauty and such but this is where I read all of my favourite blogs so it’s the one I prefer to promote to you guys.

How do you keep up with your favourite blogs? You can follow mine here

Google Friend Connect hasn’t gone ANYWHERE. Google Reader, on the other hand, HAS. People appear to be a little confused; the two are separate. GFC relates to Blogger (which isn’t going anywhere) and Google Reader is just an RSS feed reader.

I’m currently using feedly and I love it! It’s so easy to use and I have the app on my iPhone and on my tablet 🙂

This is how I’ve always followed my blogs (including yours ^^), I’d go as far to say I always used it over GFC! So I didn’t really miss it when it retired- I love the interface and I love how easy it is to use.
