Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color in Cherry #30lipsin30days

I have raved and raved about these lipsticks since they were released last year and I still will but after a little more intensive testing for this months challenge I've discovered that there are some inconsistencies and best practices when it comes to application. No. 1 - if your lips are dry they will need more frequent touch ups. While these are far more hydrating than your average bear they can dry out to a patchy, uneven mess if your lips are dry to begin with. They reapply layered on top beautifully and so it's not a major issue but the difference in wear between dry lips and conditioned lips is insane. On a good day this will last me 7 hours and look absolutely perfect so really a one time review doesn't do the job with this formula.No. 2 - the colours do seem to vary. This is one of the trickier ones and it;s not necessarily a dark/vs light issue because some of the very bright pinks/corals are great but this one does seem to be a little on the drier side. Whether that's just mine and the range as a whole is inconsistent or this particular colour is drier en mass I don't know, but it's something to bear in mind.Overall, the pigment and average wear time of these is fantastic and as higher priced lipsticks go I do think this is one of the few formulas that's worth the extra cash!BUY ONLINE FOR £24.50
