Bobbi Brown Crushed - The Liquid Lip

*sampleHonestly, I think Bobbi Brown can do no wrong at this point. I don't remember the last thing I tried and didn't love - or at least, didn't see who would love it.I am a superfan of their original 'Crushed' lipsticks (see that review here) and so a liquid version is just the ticket to help me through my final phases of matte withdrawals. A year ago I was 100% all in on a liquid matte formula but something clicked about 6 months ago and for the first time ever, I'm going gloss. This is a hybrid, somewhere between that original balmy lipstick and a pigmented gloss. It's comfortable, not at all streaky and wears beautifully. Peach & Quiet has been my shade of choice and in a full 8 hour work day I only had to reapply once. Bear in mind that when I did reapply, it had worn evenly with no bleeding - these are just LUSH.I haven't had them long enough to work through every colour yet but I've worn a handful and they've all been good. The difference is that in this formula I'm quite enjoying the paler/neutral shades whereas in the lipstick I liked the bolder colours. I think you get a little more oomph from those not so POW colours in this liquid version - oh and the applicator (which I now realise I should have photographed) holds a really good amount of product. I've been using just one 'dip' per application for a smooth - balmy but not too shiny - finish.Available here for £19.00
