Bourjois Cream Blush – Nude Velvet

IMG_0282

Of all the drugstore brands I feel like I’ve totally neglected Bourjois. I don’t know what it is but they just don’t grab my attention and the price point is top end for lower end brand. As it happens I didn’t even buy this, I received it in my Dream Box from Latest in Beauty last month and although I never would have picked it up I’m really glad to have been pushed to try it.

Lipstick I’m wearing here is Kinda Sexy by MAC (post to come)

I tend to avoid cream cheek products because my skin is oily and 1. I want to at least start off matte and 2. I find that they separate on my skin as the day wears on but this really is velvety. It’s not at all shiny on the skin and doesn’t cause me to be more oily than I would already be – huge plus for a cream blush for me. Wear time is comparable to any other, I find they disappear on me quicker than anything else but I rarely go out of my way to top up because who wants to take a powder and a brush everywhere they go (oh wait.. me cause I’m so shiny.. but I don’t want to have to take TWO) but this is so compact and requires no tools.. perfect for applying on the go/keeping in your bag.

Available online here in 6 colours for £7.99 each

These sound really nice, love the colour too not sure about the disapearing though as my powder blushers seem to last for the majority of the day hmm but as you say as they’re so compact you can easily top up on the go 🙂 x

This looks so pretty! I’ve never really had much time for cream blushes, because I suffer from oily skin too, but this sounds worth a try x

This shade looks gorgeous! I love Bourjois, and often find that even though they are the higher prices than normal high street brands, they’re so worth it 🙂 I’ve not tried any of the cream blushes yet from Bourjois!

I really like this one too – I got it in the Dream LIB box and it has almost instantly become my go too shade for pretty summer glow cheeks – definitely an underrated product!

I too unfortunately have oily skin, and would not be tempted to try a cream blusher… But having read your post, maybe I’ll try one out when I nip into Boots tomorrow!

It suits your skin so well…I love your blog! If you get a chance, could you please review the Garnier Ultimate Blends Hair Oil, and maybe have a look at my blog? I literally just started! Thank you 🙂
