Bourjois Milk Chocolate Bronzer

IMG_2062This might not seem very new and exciting BUT I had no idea these came in different shades!! I thought there was only 1! I don’t generally browse the Bourjois stand so if I’ve ever repurchased I’ve just grabbed whatever’s there without really looking but recently I was on the hunt for their new contour kit when I spied a LIGHTER version of their classic bronzer. It slightly softened the blow that I didn’t find what I was looking for.

IMG_2444IMG_2061I always loved the shade I had, 52 but for Winter I’m so happy to have this more subtle (51) lighter bronzer. Those of you pale girls out there NEED this if you don’t already have it.. I realise I’ve been living under a rock!

Obviously the formula is identical, It’s not insanely pigmented so it allows room for error and for you to build up to the colour you want rather than desperately trying to blend out oompa loompa gone wrong. In short it’s made one of my all time favourite bronzers even better. I can’t wait to get my hands on the bronzer/highlighter one if I ever actually find it in stock but in the meantime I thought I’d post this (and I realise it was of no information to many) for those who like me had no idea there was a shade 51.. mind. blown.

Available online here for £7.99

I love that bronzer so much!! I actually have a post on my blog about my favorite bronzers for light skin tones, if anyone’s interested 🙂

This is a great idea for paler skin, they should also bring out a darker one with cooler tones! xx

I’ve been using the contour kit for a few weeks now and I do like it a lot. It’s not orange and the highlighter is a nice shade. Only thing I don’t like is how slim each colour is on the pan – very thin – so you end up mixing both colours together accirdently (and that’s using a thin contour brush!) Despite that, I do like it.

I really enjoy the original of this, but have to agree – on my pale skin it can sometimes look a little bit out of place. I will be eyeing this up next time I’m in Boots!

Thats really strange because I have the highlighter/bronzer one but I can’t find the lighter shade anywhere, and I live in Doncaster lol

I got mine from boots on Wheatley hall Rd, the boots in the Frenchgate drives me mad.

I’ve always stayed clear of bronzers after a few cringy mishaps, especially with having massively pale skin, but i had no idea at all that this came in a lighter shade!

I love this bronzer, I thought the only variation of it was the contouring one! Might have a closer look next time 🙂

I love this bronzer, and like you, I am after the bronzer and highlighter one, but have not found it as of yet.
