Chalkboard Walls

When I bought my first house when Ella was small I couldn't wait to decorate her room. I'd seen chalkboard paint at B&Q and knew I wanted to paint a wall but wasn't sure how easy it would be.. the idea was also met with less enthusiasm from her Dad so I put it off. When I eventually did it I chose to paint the lower half with pink chalkboard paint, left a band of white and then the top half.. wait for it.. GLITTER! I LOVED it. I drew pictures and copied lyrics to her favourite songs and when she was old enough it gave her hours of enjoyment. Since that house I've only rented so haven't wanted to do anything that would be a pain to put back when we leave but now we're (hopefully) buying again the chalk wall is top of my list for Milo's room. I will likely keep it to a small section, no taller than he is and on a short wall but the world really is your oyster! Here are some of my favourites..746adf2c8a6adb20476e4fdd0c0b9208reasons-were-still-not-over-chalkboard-paint-paint-decoration-kids-bedroom-best-chalkboard-paint-ideas-kids-roomchalkboard-handmade-charlotte-8magnetic-wall-ideas-for-your-kids-playroom-chalkboard-kitchen-2-9802efchalkboard-handmade-charlotte-9
