Oh I do love my China Glaze! My friend Caz came round the other day and in a bid to convince her she needed at least a couple of the neons I got her to try them all on which you can see in her post here. They are ALL good, every one of them, even this green and I usually hate green nail polish. I chose these two photos because the light was so different I wanted to give a more accurate idea of what it really looks like, it’s more green like the lower picture than blue like the above. Like every one of the Sunsational polishes it gives the illusion of a bright white base coat, it’s so neon I don’t think there are any other polishes like these.
Much like the new Models Own collection they totally make me look tanned and I assure you I NEVER am (forever pale gal here) but it’s nice to pretend for a moment. Since wearing these neon shades on my nails I never want to wear any of my regular colours, they’re so POW that anything else just seems boring. The formula is thin and fast drying, I used to think that the satin finish was a little lack lustre as I always like a gel shine top coat but recently I’m appreciating the almost matte look. If I didn’t NEED the top coat to prevent chipping I might leave it without because I think the non glossy finish works with the neon colours. I’m not sure whether the other China Glaze polishes are the same but I will be going back to my old stash to check them out now.
If you don’t already know you can buy them from Nail Polish Direct and if I’d not made myself super clear I would absolutely recommend them!
