THAT CHRISSY TEIGAN KNOWS WHAT SHE’S DOING, DOESN’T SHE? I love her on social media and she’s basically #beautygoals so I was over the moon excited to get my hands on her BECCA palette last year and when she released a new collection I was ALL OVER IT. It’s not cheap and I did have a pang of ‘OMG! what have I done?’ when I ordered but now it’s here I couldn’t care less. It’s beautiful. The compact is being sold as a ‘palette’ which is total BS but it’s similar in price to their Shimmering Skin perfector of the same size (this is actually 7g and that’s 8g but who’s counting) and it’s ideal for travel. I’m actually looking at it as a compact alternative of the original I love so much.
In the above pictures I’m using all of the Endless Bronze ‘palette’ on my cheeks and the blush on my eyes and I haven’t so much as brightened the images. Truly no filter gorgeous glow. I feel like BECCA make some of the most flattering powders for the over 30 crowd (Hourglass aside) and I’m so please Chrissy collaborated with them because it just works.
I also succumbed to the Lip Glow because I saw a video of her applying it and I’m a sucker but it’s lush. Very balmy, not sticky at all and minty. It tingles a little but not uncomfortably so and I didn’t notice an plumping but I loved the feel and I’m sure I read somewhere that Beach Nectar it was Chrissy’s fave so.. that’s what I bought because… SUCKER! I would say it was pricey but I was going to buy myself another YSL Balm Gloss which is £26 and this is £18 so I’m considering it a saving. Not the same product at all but just as lovely in its own way.
