Christmas Coupling

UntitledIt may not look super festive but trust me.. it’s got ‘it’. Unlike red it goes with everything, unlike a full on glitter it’s not a TOTAL nightmare to remove and although it’s got that sparkle factor it’s fairly understated and pretty neutral for the office. This time last year I was in love with a very similar combo, replace the creamy base with a bright white and you’ve got it. It had a snowy feel.. but this is a little more polished (pardon the pun) and I’m just going to say it – ladylike. Not that all nail colours can’t be ladylike, I love a bright blue as much as the next gal but there’s something a bit grown up about the creamy nude that is Barry M’s Lychee and Essie’s A Cut Above jut adds that extra je ne sais quoi that seems almost necessary at this time of year. I’ve been reaching for Barry M Gelly polishes more and more to the point where they may have earned their own post (watch this space) but Lychee is definitely my current favourite.. it just LOOKS expensive on the nails.. mad as that may sound.

Yes! I love this combo! I might have to run out to Boots and pick these two beauties up, I really want a more festive nail that ISNT red right now! this would be perfect, especially for work!

This is super pretty and has me excited about my Essie purchase from yesterday. I didn’t have any Essie polishes at all! I got a pinkish color with some pink glitter, and this is my cue to go paint my nails! Have a great day 🙂
