Some may call it a walk in wardrobe but in my case it’s the smallest bedroom in my house, not big enough for a proper bed. It’s where I used to store my makeup and film my videos and it’s where I intend to create a closet-like space filled with pieces that inspire me or new purchases.. things I want to wear and items I want to display. I’ve been looking a lot online at storage and organisation to add to the room and I thought I’d share the best of what I’ve found..
Heavy duty clothing rail / Over door shoe rack / Black velvet bangle holder / Silver tree ring display / Floor standing mirror with hidden jewellery storage / Drawer organiser / Silver cube stool / Non slip hangers / Handbag hanging storage
Do any of you store your clothes outside of a conventional wardrobe? I have a rail right now but it’s falling apart so that will be the first thing to be replaced, I love having things out so I can see them rather than behind a door.

Great items here. I think i need one of those velvet bangles holder for my watches because i think it will look much nicer than my watches and bracelets just lying around. I quite like the idea of a clothes rail, its much more tidy and easy to find the clothes you want.
Thank you for the post, Have a wonderful day! ♥

Those clothes hangers are great and if that’s the Lori Grenier jewellery mirror I have one and it’s fabulous. But, before you buy the bangle holder, have a look for the three-tier version. You can’t display as many as you might think and, with a heavy watch on it, the trio version would be more stable. It’s worth thd extra.
I have done the same thing in my house, only the room is a lot bigger than yours, but I bought 2 clothing rails and fixed them to the walls as I wanted more space to store my clothes. You can see it in my recent Room Redo post and video if you want to see what I mean
I store my clothes i want to wear for a week on rail so much easier to find in a mad rush of a morning for me. argos now sell rail wardrobes which i’m looking into getting as i’m simply running out of space to store my clothes as it is.
I saw that Mirror/Jewellery Storage unit in The Range a few weeks ago. Its also a bit cheaper there then it is on ebay!

I really like it and if I had the space I would get it! As it stands I dont and could probably just do with an over the door mirror!

Don’t get the over the door shoe hanger. We are forever trying new ones but whenever you open the door, it will break and all the shoes will fall off. It’s a daily routine putting them back in our house.
I would love a room like this – I’d fill it with very similar things!

I’d love to have a room like this but I fear it would just encourage me to buy even more stuff! Love the standing mirror the most, I really like this idea!
