Condense Your Closet Without Condensing Your Clothes

closet before after

This is one of the most exciting additions to my closet in some time.. apart from  maybe the leather look leggings you’ll see in tomorrows outfit post. I have been eying up these hangers in Primark for months but £4 for 10 seemed expensive given how many I knew I would need.. and they were expensive but when you consider how much room they’ve created I’d consider them a very worthwhile investment and am just hoping that they keep stocking them for as and when I need more.

All I changed in my wardrobe set up you see below was the hangers, switching out the mis-matched sizes (some of which were HUGE) made a massive difference not to mention these new velvet beauties are non slip. All those cami tops and wide necked shirts that you can never seem to keep hanging nicely will almost be difficult to REMOVE from your wardrobe with these hangers. They seriously are just awesome and I know it might seem mad to blog about such a small thing but I thought you guys would be interested to SEE the difference ’cause although I knew it would condense everything I had no idea how much.. and I have like 10 spare here too so I’ve pretty much doubled my hanging space.

How do you maximise your wardrobe space? I’m fortunate to have several wardrobes but I use the others for seasonal clothes I’m not wearing right now or dresses which need longer room to hang, this is my main closet so I wanted to get it organised and working as efficiently as possible.

Will have to get myself some of those!!
Look at all the room you now have for more clothes 😉 xx

I have these and they are brilliant, they occasionally go on offer too so I got mine for £2.90! I wish they’d sell skirt hangers like this 🙂 xx

I think you may have just saved my wardrobe! It’s almost full to bursting and I’ve never thought I actually own that much in terms of clothes. We’re almost at one out one in kind of situation which would break my heart.

I do regularly clear out anything I’ve not worn for a year, but I seem to buy more than I remove.

    Thanks for the tip!

I did this same thing to my closet a few years ago and it truly makes the biggest difference! People don’t believe me when I tell them to spend a few to make their closet gorgeous! Glad you did and love it!

I’ve been eyeing these up too but the amount I’d need also really put me off …but if it makes way for room for new clothes then perhaps I should invest! 🙂

I love the idea of non slip!! need to get some of these. I’ve also seen some accessories hangers which look really good in primark!

Omg I actually need those so badly, my wardrobe is full of empty hangers and all the clothes are chucked on the floor of it as they dont fit! Will definitely be getting some of those 🙂 x

I’ve looked at the hangers before and thought they were expensive too, but the difference in your wardrobe is great, so maybe it’s worth the price :)xo

You can buy space saving hangers on amazon in JVL bulk packs, 25, 50, 100 or 200, i just ordered a 50 pack for £18.99 which is about 37p a hanger, if you need a lot of them it might be worth it to get the bigger packs which work out even cheaper (& shipping was free n fast too)

Try homebargains if you need more of them Khila, they do a blush pink or black the same as the Primark ones but 10 are £2.99. They also do a four rung trouser hanger that matches that I think are £2 for 2, brilliant for leggings!!! I changed all my hangers over to these last year and love them, plus they always seem to have plenty in stock if I accidentally buy more clothes 😉

I’m sure I have seen these cheaper elsewhere. Definitely try tkmaxx, possibly pound stretcher. They are brilliant hangers though – saves so much space and stops everything falling down x

Fabulous. Thank you for sharing this and I am definitely heading to Primark next week for a pack of these hangers to try this out myself. ♥

    I will be purchasing 🙂

I tried to find these today but there were none (genius idea btw!) but I’ve just found packs of 20 on Sports Direct for £4.99 so not bad. Hopefully I’ll be able to free up some much needed space in my pathetic for a grown woman sized ‘wardrobe’.

Hi, that looks great, I don’t understand how the hangers take up less space though, I’m easily confused xx

they’re thinner!! plus they’re all the same so they fit together better than hangers that curve and oppose each other
