Current Go To Makeup – Winter Glow

IMG_1194

Being a beauty blogger I switch up my makeup a lot but occasionally I’ll find a routine I really like and it sticks for a little while. Recently I’ve been all about dewy/glowy looking skin (which is so unlike me as my skin is naturally pretty oily) and the discovery of the Sleek Face Form has been epic. I’ve never been big on contouring but I do love a good highlight and I’ve been playing with this palette a lot lately and I guess you could say practicing chiseling my cheeks. Some girls make it looks SO good but my round face never seems to take to it.. I’m not ready to give up just yet though and while I’m still trying it I thought I’d film a GRWM (get ready with me) video and show you what I’ve been loving of late and how I’ve been applying it.

Your makeup looks so pretty šŸ™‚ I have the Sleek Contour Kit and the Rose Gold blusher as separates and am still trying to master the ‘contoured face’ myself!

Have just started my own blog and would love if you’d check it out x

I’ve never thought of using an Avon foundation before – will certainly consider it. I love the Smashbox brow to go as well, I use mine everyday; I love the natural finish.

Wow! Very tempted by the avon foundation I must say!! My skin is quite dry though so I wonder if it’d look as good on me?!

You look very natural and pretty in this makeup. I recently got the lash accelerator mascara and so far I’m impressed. I’ve been wondering about trying the Avon foundation, it definitely looks good on you.

The Sleek highlighter is amazing, I use it every day. It’s great for contouring.

I have that face form palette, and I love it. I use the real techniques setting brush for the highlighter/contouring powder, and it works great. I put the blusher on lightly over the top and sort of swirl everything together until I don’t see any obvious lines. I’m new to contouring, but nobody has pointed and laughed at me in the street – so far so good!
