It’s that time again! Today I’ll be running down my current product loves, I know many bloggers shun December favourites in favour of an annual favourites video but I will be doing both.. what I loved this month isn’t necessarily what I’ve loved all year so my 2013 monster video will be up on Friday. Back to today.. here’s what’s impressed me this month..
Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster & Truth To Go Wipes – part of this set – £47.20* / Avon True Colour Eye Quad in Mocha Latte* – £3.50 / Models Own Eye Kohl in Black / L’Oreal Super Liner Brow Artist in Blonde – £5.49 / Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara – £7.99 / Revlon Cherries In The Snow – £7.49 / MAC RiRi Woo / Maybelline Brocades Nail Polish in Knitted Gold – £3.99 / Vera Wang Princess* – 30ml Gift Set available on sale for £24.95
Ole Henriksen is a brand I wish I’d never tried because I love it and it’s so freaking expensive!! I will splurge on a lipstick or a blush.. something that will last but rarely foundation or skincare because I have to replace them so often. That being said I felt an immediate difference when using both the face wipes and the serum from the Vitamin C range and I am going to have to try more.. smells delicious and leaves my skin glowing. Avons Mocha Latte quad really impressed me and I’ve been using it a lot this month.. I recently bought the Naked Basics from Urban Decay and the shade range is similar so if you’re interested in that bust on a tighter budget I’d suggest you give it a go.. very nice quality! I already had this L’Oreal brow pencil in brunette but it was a touch too dark, the blonde colour is not too warm, the formula isn’t too waxy and it might just rival my favourite from Smashbox.. much kinder on my pocket so fingers crossed! December has been all about red lips.. I’m sure you could guess that from my 12 days of lipstick series but my most loved have been the brilliant red that is RiRi Woo and the glossier Cherries In The Snow from Revlon.. I bought that after hearing so much about it from Fee over on Makeup Savvy. I’m sure the nail polish pick is no surprise and I wont be alone in raving about that this month.. gorgeous and glittery.. I wont be able to keep that as an exclusively Christmas polish.. too pretty! Lastly I have been loving Vera Wang Princess recently which is so out of season, I usually prefer heavier scents year round but especially during the Winter season but something has drawn me to this lately so I had to mention it. It’s worth noting that right now A LOT of perfume sets will be marked down massively and Fragrance Direct have some of the best deals!
If you’d like to see me jabbering about all of the above you can watch the video version here.
