Disappointing Products #4

It’s been a while since I outed my least favourite items and I’d amassed quite the collection so I thought it was about time for Disappointing Products #4. Unlike almost every other blogger/YouTube out there I’m not going to start with the pre-amble of ‘I research my products and choose carefully so am not often disappointed because that is so not me. As a beauty blogger I feel it’s almost my duty to try as many things as I can where I think I will like them or not, I can be objective with my review but sometimes an item just doesn’t live up to my expectation or I flat out dislike it. I know there are some who don’t enjoy the negative side of reviews (which lets face it in itself is ridiculous – why watch a review if you’re only open to positive opinions?) but bear in mind that my skin type and preferences are not the same as everyone elses so what you may love I may hate.. anyway.. here’s the video.

..and a list of everything that’s disappointed me lately (and one unexpected turn-a-round)

I didn’t ‘get’ the Percy & Reed oil either! Didn’t seem to add any volume, I think it added some shine though… Not too sure.

You want a product to WOW you, not make you think ‘Meh’

I think I must be one of the few people that actually love the rocket mascara, it actually separates my lashes even though the brush is so strange. I must just be lucky I suppose. Thanks for the warnings 🙂 xx

I have quite nice lashes (at least I like to think so!) and The Rocket drives me CRAZY. The mascara is so wet (which I hate, maybe when it dries out a bit?) and the brush has the same problem as MF False Lash Effect – stumpy bristles and bleck – and my lashes just CLUMP together and look hideous.

And it takes forever to dry on my lashes- this is not a problem I have ever had before! I’m legit afraid to blink with it on for the first 5 minutes.

Made me laugh when you reviewed the pencils, cos I was just thinking: You need to warm them up, thats why they don’t draw nicely. Anyway, just put up to your mouth and breathe on the tip, its not classy, but usually no one watches me when I do my make up… 🙂

You should try rimmel match perfection foundation because there are realy light shades, I’ve got really light skin and the shade porcelain is perfect <3

I managed to get the Rimmel Eye Primer to work by letting two layers dry with my eyes shut, and then it was quite good at keeping my eyeshadow on for a bit longer.

    Bree 🙂
