Dove Nourishing Oil Care

This could quickly become a holy grail beauty product.. it’s just that good. I bought it on the recommendation of an overwhelming number of you when I asked for your leave in conditioner suggestions. I’ve never considered Dove hair care, in truth I wasn’t actually aware there was such a think as Dover hair care but it’s really quite an extensive range, there are 3 versions of this product alone. You can choose from Care & Repair, Colour Radiance and Nourishing Oil, which is this one. I thought it would serve double duty as a leave in conditioner and an oil and since I bought it I haven’t reached for my Macadamia stuff once.

IMG_5711Quite possibly the best thing about this is that you can use it on wet or DRY hair.. whaaa?? I have been trying to use less heat on my hair lately in a bid to stave off a trim just a little while longer and this has been great to spritz on my natural waves to give a beachy look. There’s nothing texturising here, it’s kind of like a light serum so it smooths anything that may otherwise look dry/damaged when left to do it’s own thing so although it’ not designed for that purpose I find it works really well and unlike salt sprays this will actually condition your hair rather than dehydrate it. Lastly you just have to smell this stuff, I know hair stuff generally smells quite nice but ahhhhh it’s so yummy and it lingers all day, it’s like a leave in conditioner, finishing product, hair perfume hybrid in a beautiful yellow bottle and I will absolutely be repurchasing when I run out. It’s also great for those of you who hammer the dry shampoo like me to keep your ends looking healthy between washes – just fab and I can’t thanks those of you who recommended it to me enough!

I’ve just been and bought this on your recommendation and think its going to be brilliant. I can’t live without my madademia oil so as soon a you said this competes with that, I knew I had to try it as it could save me a fortune. You were right about the smell too. Soooooooo goooood! 🙂
