e.l.f Eyelid Primer

I can’t believe I haven’t already blogged about this.. in fact I’m sure I did.. did I delete it? Anywho.. at the risk of repeating myself I want to tell you all how wonderful this little primer is from e.l.f. It’s not the worlds strongest hold and when I compare it to the likes of Urban Decay’s Primer Potion but for regular wear it’s just fine. It’s tough to find a good primer on the high street – and I’ve tried a few – the MUA is okay but doesn’t really do much for me and don’t even get me started on the slippy silicone valley that is Rimmels offering. All things considered the e.l.f Eyelid Primer is the best available in the budget category. It actually does a good job holding off creases and just happens to be very good value.

Like I said this is my day to day but if I was looking for a stronger hold I actually don’t look to UD as I once would have.. my current absolute favourite is from Helen E. You need the tiniest amount and, it’s dry and sets quickly – which is what I prefer – colours are more vibrant applied on top of it.. I can’t recommend it enough. It’s £8.00 online here. I had to get that in because although the e.l.f is great if I have a long day or a big night out to get ready for I will reach for my ‘big guns’

e.l.f Eyelid Primer is available online here for just £1.50

I’ve been using the Zoeva primer which is good but I had an evening thing on Saturday but had to apply my make-up at 1pm. When I returned at 1.30 am the eye make-up was perfect, only UDPP does that for me.

Gotta love that Helen E primer! Any MissBudgetBeauty readers can come and see me in Doncaster or Wakefield Debenhams and you can have 3 primers for £10 instead of £8 each 🙂 !

I love this primer, it’s the best of all the drugstore primers I’ve tried. The Rimmel one was terrible! I’ve never used the Urban Decay Primer Potion, I think I may have to invest in one for when I go on nights out though.
