Essie Absolutely Shore Dupe

Are you sensing a minty theme today? I thought so. You may or may not know that Essie’s Absolutely Shore is one of my all time favourite nail polishes.. top 10 at least and that’s saying a lot for my vast (ridiculously so) collection. I’ve seen variations at lower cost before but nothing has been as close as this so I had to blog it, obviously! My index finger and thumb are painted with Essie and the rest are painted with Avons Sprightly Mint, I think you’ll agree it’s almost (entirely in my case) impossible to tell them apart. The formula’s are also very similar, it takes at least 3 coats to get it opaque, until then it’s a streaky mess but that’s pastels for you. The Essie has no discernible edge in this race so given the choice I would repurchase the Avon hands down. Unfortunately I can’t seem to find this online so I have a feeling it’s been discontinued, I know it’s in the current catalogue though so if you’re interested find your nearest representative online here, it’s just £2 if you can get hold of it.

Bizarrely I have another Avon polish I received at the same time as this one which is a great dupe for a Ciate so expect that post soon!

Hi, I love the idea of comparing nail polishes and finding dupes, I think it’s really helpful and I also have found being an AVON lover that most of the nail colour do have a lot of dupes in the different nail polish ranges. I’d love if you could do more post like this because I love that you can get the same but for less.

    Thanks 😀
