Essie – Bahama Mama

Ladies and Jellybeans you may call off the search, Winter in a bottle has been found. So many beauty bloggers and YouTubers have spoken about this recently I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it and unlike most of my recent polish purchases it did not disappoint. I sit here typing this with Bahama Mama on my toes, it has been on my toes for the best part of three weeks and chip it has not, in fact it still looks pedicure perfect! Last week I was wearing it on my nails and once I’ve finished my Essie marathon and photographed every shade I own I am quite certain I shall be wearing this shade solidly for several weeks. I’ll admit I thought I had dupes for this, I bought it for the hype, the name, the brand.. but it was worth it. I have nothing like it in my stash, it’s a raspberry/plum hybrid that deepens as it’s layered and shockingly for a solid colour, changes in the light. One of my favourites from Essie so far and definitely in my top 10 nails of 2012 (post to come)

Available at Boots and Superdrug stores Nationwide

This is my favourite polish atm from essie, I’ve also just bought luxedo too and that’s nice.. Very deep plum almost bordering on black but so nice.

I think so but I’ve become a bit of a collector! Depends on what you’re in to but I think Fiji is a very impressive pale opaque, Absolutely Shore is another I love and Bahama Mama is a current favourite but then I guess it’s easily duped for less.. the pale opaques are worth paying for!
