Essie – Navigate Her

Is this my worst nail post yet? No, you’re right.. there have been worse. I don’t know what it is but since I decided I have to get through swatching my Essie collection my NOTD pictures have been awful! I’m pleased to tell you that this is the last of a bad bunch. I have 3 more to come but they’re of a much better standard. I think perhaps because I set myself a deadline I had to photograph the nails regardless of the finish/quality or I’d have to repaint and what a bore that is given that the ones I had left were likely my least favourite shades. Anywho enough about my poor pictures and more about this shade in particular! This is one of the bargain Xtra’s shades I picked up for just £2.99 so the fact I wasn’t totally enamoured of this green didn’t feel like such a loss at such a discount. It’s a great spring colour that I’ll probably break out again next year but not really season appropriate right now. My issue with the bubbling etc with this particular swatch was down to a poor top coat rather than the Essie formula, my regular one one had run out and I wasn’t about to repaint so I hope you can  see past the horrifying application to the polish itself which is actually quite nice.

Where did you get the Essie polishes so cheaply? I rather like this colour!
