When I stumbled upon this in my local Boots store I felt like I’d found gold. All I’ve heard over the past few weeks is that this is sold out everywhere and if you find it, BUY IT! Who am I to disobey? Luckily my Boots points covered it ’cause I’m more than a little skint right now with Christmas presents and all but I had to have it either way. I was dilliberating over the purchase of either the red glitter or the gold at first before I noticed the mini kits and could have all 3 from the Winter collection for just £2 more.. score! I don’t usually buy mini’s because (and this is ridiculous) I’m a bit of a collector of polish and when they’re all lined up together the miniatures always look a bit off but these are just perfect, they’re just squished width versions of the full sized bottles so they slot in very nicely.. I told you I was mad!
The shades in the Winter 2012 collection are Leading Lady (reminds me a lot of Razzle dazzle by Deborah Lippmann), Snap Happy, a pillarbox “Christmas” red and Beyond Cozy which is just so beautiful. Similar formula to Champale that MAC released New Year 2010, I love it and had I had to choose I think this would have been the one but I do worry that the tiny glitter particles will act as sandpaper when it comes to removal. I will of course be swatching these over the course of the next week or so and posting NOTD but before I leave you I just wanted to show you what I mean about the line up.

You see under normal circumstances it would be looking all small and pathetic next to the regular sized bottle but Essie have been rather savvy I think and considered the aesthetic for those of you like me who appreciate rows upon rows of identical bottles… ahhh… I think I have a problem.
Available in Boots stores nationwide (if you can find them) for £9.99
