Face Mask Friday – 7th Heaven Argan Oil Mud

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOkay first let’s address the elephant in the room facial hair. Am I the only one that doesn’t see it in all of it’s long ass glory until I put on a face mask and I’m like WHOA!! I like to think I’m pretty hot on that aspect of personal grooming but from time to time I find a chin hair an inch long and die a little inside.. how many people saw that before I did???!

So anyway.. the real topic of today’s post is the mask, not the whiskers and this is a good one! I’ve been really impressed with the new 7th Heaven range from Montagne Jeunesse so far and this is no exception. It’s a mud (which historically I prefer) so it’s a good deep cleanser but the argan oil means it’s not at all drying. It’s almost the best of both worlds between the cleansing and hydrating.. so long as you don’t leave it on for too long! Around 10 minutes, washed off with a hot (as you can stand) flannel and your skin with feel fresh and soft.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAIt claims to cleanse and balance and I’d say it does just that, I still love my moisture masks and this doesn’t replace those but I would definitely choose this over a traditional clay deep cleanser in future.. oh and there are no strong scents to put you off here.. I really wish that other one wasn’t so.. banana-y

Haha yes chin hairs are so annoying 🙂 Thanks for review – I’m going to try this instead of the usual deep cleanse one I use!

Hahaha, this did make me laugh. Stray chin hairs are the bane of my life, I hate looking in the mirror and suddenly spotting one! This mask sounds lovely by the way, I’ll have to pick one up to try!
