*Face mask Friday* – LUSH BB Seaweed

IMG_1518

I haven’t tried anything but bath bombs (I made that exception at Christmas) in more than a year and suddenly we have 2 review in a week.. craziness! I’d tried their fresh face masks in the past and wasn’t incredibly impressed and much as I like this.. it’s not all that either. I like the idea that it’s all natural but really I’m a chemicals and preservatives kinda gal. I don’t care what’s in my product so long as it does what I want it to do. This does soften and my skin feels nice after I’ve used it but there are other masks I like more that don’t have a shelf life.

This is always my issue with fresh masks.. I have 10 or more in my stash at any one time and don’t want to use the same one every week but when I have one in the fridge I feel like I have to use that above all others and I get bored.. unless of course it does something extra special – which this doesn’t. It’s supposed to be soothing and the ingredients suggest that someone with sensitive skin might love this but for me it wasn’t anything more than refreshing

Available online here for £5.95

I have always wondered about those masks! Never tried any of them but I would probably buy all of them if they came in like a two use pot or something, so nothing goes to waste.

But I love soothing masks so I’ll have to try this one out as soon as possible!

I totally agree with you about this face mask. I love the fact that it’s all natural and good for your skin, it’s a nice treat to put on your face. However, it really doesn’t do much apart from make your face feel refreshed and baby soft. I think my major problem with Lush face masks is that they only last 2 weeks which is so annoying. I’d rather spend my money on something that will last longer and have a greater effect on my face! Have you ever tried the Origins Clear Improvement or Out of Trouble face mask?

Sorry, I haven’t tried either of them yet. But I was wondering if you had because I really want to! They both look sooo good (but a bit expensive)!

I love Lush but haven’t tried any of their fresh face masks, I definitely want to though but maybe I’ll skip this one.
