Face Mask Friday – Merumaya Skin Brightening Exfoliating Peel

Bit of a different Face Mask Friday this week, I have no ‘on the face’ shots (okay.. that sounded a bit wrong, sorry) because it’s basically just a gel and it’s technically not a mask at all.. it’s a peel. It’s hard to say exactly what the directions are here or how long to leave it on your skin as it just says ‘while you get on with things’ but if you know me you’ll know I like to give my products time to work so we’re talking an hour minimum. I love chemical exfoliants and this is no different, it contains glycolic acid as well as fruit enzymes both of which have historically worked well for my skin and when the familiar tingle crept in I knew I was on to a winner. Products such as this really work to smooth my skin and clear up any threatening breakouts but I know it’s not for everyone and as always with these things I’d suggest caution if you are sensitive to  these active ingredients.

These are my favourite kinds of treatments and this is so similar to the Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask that I’m seriously considering a full seized purchase, especially as it’s £10.00 cheaper for the same volume!

Available online here priced £19.50 for 50ml

Slightly odd question, but what is the material under the product? Carpet? I’m not even sure why I want to know to be honest, I just can’t figure it out and it’s bugging me! 🙂

    Hi there!
I have an oily skin skin with acne scars. So would this work for me?

Hi, I just got this product but i was wondering how do you use yours. I been tried once and it can’t peel it off from my face. So I just simply rinsed by water. Is that right?
