Fashionista Brow Kit

A week or so ago I blogged about the Fashionista Blush/Eyeshadow custom quads and today I’m showing you another palette from the brand but this time it’s for your brows. I’ve had a lot of brow products in my time (potential follow up post?) and universal palettes are pretty difficult to get right. Something like this will be great if you have mid to dark brunette hair but anything lighter and you’ll be struggling. My brows are sparse and mousey so they lend themselves pretty well to the various shades I dye my hair but when I’m blonde I find it a real struggle to find a product that will define without leaving me looking un-natural. They’re always too warm or too dark and unfortunately that is the case with this kit, it would be perfect if I still had chocolate locks but as I don’t it will be relegated to my stash of products I can’t use while I’m on the lighter side. Rest assured I’ll get some use out of it eventually (you know me and my hair dye additiction) but for now it’s a bit of disappointment.

What I do like about this is that not only do you get 3 brow powders, you have a wax to set and mix, a mini angled brush (not ideal for daily use but great for travel) and tweezers! – an often forgotten addition that I for one am always pleased to see included. You get a nice big mirror and the palette itself is quite compact so given that you have the little utensils It would make a nice handbag kit.

I recently purchased a couple of blonde pencils I’m quite happy with but am yet to find a generic universal palette that works for cool toned light blondes, if you know of one please leave a comment ’cause I’m on a bit of a mission!

available here for £7.00

Great post- I might have to try this out, I’ve got quite dark eyebrows so this might work for me. x

Have you tried benefit brow zings in light? I’m a very light pearl blond and found it really hard to get a brow kit/pencil that suited my hair colour and skin tone. Now I bought the benefit kit I can’t live without it. It cost a little more than I would normally spend on a brow kit but it’s lasted 4 months with every day use and I still have loads left . <3x

the issue I have with expensive kits is I never use the wax.. I think if i invest in anything I’ll get just the right shade of eyeshadow from mac and pop that in my travel palette. I have a great shadow from Too Faced but it’s in a massive kit and tricky to depot. find for at home but if I go anywhere I’m a bit stuck.

I have light blonde hair aswell and feel the axact same about this product! I do the exact same thing as you – dye it as often as i like:) and this would be absolutely great for a medium brown hair at a push but i think this just isn’t the right colour selection for us blondies 🙂

Thanks Khila, lots of love Stella xo
