It’s Christmas Eve!! Who’s excited? Santa will be hopping down your chimney before you know it. I posted last week about a delicious gingerbread shower creme from Beauticology and as I was writing it I realised I was totally neglecting 2 other very festive foam baths I’ve been using recently. Both made it in to my November Favourites video and while they’re each very season-appropriate they are very different.
First up, Treacle Moon’s Warm Cinnamon Nights. I am totally coming around to cinnammon as a fragrance, I used to hate anything foodie but having burned my Red Apple Wreath (Yankee Candle) all month I am coming around to it. In this bath and shower gel it’s sweet and spicy and although still almost edible it’s not off putting. I think my main issue with the foodie scents is that they are usually so synthetic but I don’t feel that way about this at all, just very cozy and festive. I’ll never finish this whole bottle before Winter’s up so I intend to stash it for next year and branch out in to their other versions, I have my eye on the coconut and at £1.99 (currently on offer in Tesco’s) I might pick up a couple.
We all know that the anticipation of Christmas morning could make it difficult to drift of to sleep tonight so my second bath treat is of the relaxing kind. I love a bubble bath but so rarely have time to soak in the tub without ‘chores’ to perform such as hair washing and leg shaving. Tonight I intend to zone out in a candlelit bathroom taking in the aroma of this Spiced Lily Foaming Bath from Organic Surge. I am not a huge lavender fan but almost every sleepy time scent is laced with it. Clove, Patchouli and Essential Oils create a warm, relaxing atmosphere that is the perfect start to a good nights sleep. Available online here for £5.99.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
