I go through phases with blogs, I read lots of them but sometimes I’ll read one more than others.. this is usually over a day or two, I get lost in it and read months if not years back. It’s one of my favourite ways to waste spend time online. I’ll follow blogs via the Bloglovin app on my phone so I’m always checking for new posts etc but I rarely visit a site specifically. Lately I’ve been specifically visiting these four on a regular basis. I like to read but more than that I like to look.. each of the four above have beautiful photos of outfits, interiors and lots of other pretty things besides.

I’d suggest you start with Veronika’s Blushing – her house is amazing but I feel like her style is attainable so I find her photos really inspiring when I’m looking to revamp my home. Her outfits are cute and make me wish I had to dress up for work, very fitted and girly.  I would be remiss if I didn’t mention her new baby, Harper Reese.. adorable and just another reason to read!

Made By Girl is a blog I stumbled upon when searching Google Images for I have no idea what.. I discovered that Jen (the blogger) actually makes and sells a lot of the foil print artwork I’d seen in other blogs (such as Veronikas Blushing) and had been eyeing up for more than a year. It’s not cheap when you consider international shipping but I’m ever so tempted by her Love prints. Her home is beautiful also however it’s a little out of my reach to emulate, she also happens to have a baby girl – equally as adorable.

Two UK bloggers I’ve been reading a lot recently are In The Frow and Hello October. Not quite as established as the previous two but what would I suppose be classed as ‘Up And Comers’ as they’ve gained a large following in a short period of time. Again I look to them for aesthetically pleasing posts, Victoria (In The Frow blogger) has great style but it’s not one I share.. I love to look at her outfit posts but for the most part she wears things I never could. Suzie (Hello October blogger) and I however could easily share a wardrobe.

You don’t have to have a tremendous amount in common with someone to enjoy their posts but I do seek out those bloggers who are a little older and have children.. the UK two don’t fall in to that category but I can live vicariously through them while they are doing pretty much whatever the heck they like!

Who are your favourites right now?

I read soo many blogs. I’ve just started watching Hello October on youtube so need to read her blog too.

I love reading Fee from MakeupSavvy, Victoria from Victoria’s Vintage and Jane at BritishBeautyBlogger plus many many more.

I don’t come across as many older bloggers with children but I do find myself better able to associate with them, like you say. It often feels like it’s very different being a younger blogger and a blogger without children, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love the blogs of younger people and people without children it just feels very different from my way of life.

(I have only one child and am 28 in feb which I think is close to the same age as you?)
